A VERY LARGE CELADON JADE RUYI SCEPTER
China, Republic period (1912- 1949). An impressive jade carved as a ruyi scepter decorated with chilong, archaistic patterns, and reticulated areas. The stone in celadon tone with opaque ocher inclusions.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection, according to the current owner acquired in 1980 from a Swiss collector.
Condition: Excellent condition. Tiny chips to exposed areas, traces of wear, the stone with natural fissures.
