A LIDDED PORCELAIN GINGER JAR
China, Republic period (1912-1949). Of globular shape on a ring foot, hand painted on one side with an entertainer and two musicians on horseback. On the other side is an inscription written in black with a small red seal. The lid with further calligraphy and molded with a pointed, bud-shaped knob. A red manufacturer's mark to the underside and with a matching wood base.
Condition: Overall good condition with somewhat faded colors, minor firing imperfections, a small chip to lid and a glaze flake to the knob.
