Japan, 18th century, Edo period (1615-1868)
Painted in ink and on silk; with a silk brocade frame, and mounted as a hanging scroll, the jiku (roller ends) carved from bone. Depicted is a crane underneath a pine tree. Signature/inscription and seal in the lower right corner.
SIZE 104.9 x 34.9 cm (image), 179 x 47.9 cm (incl. mounting)
Condition: Overall the painting presents well with minor wear and a little creasing to the painting. The mounting with wear, soiling, and tears, especially in the upper right corner.
