Japan, first half of the 20th century
Painted in ink and color on paper and mounted as a hanging scroll, the jiku (roller ends) carved from wood. Depicted is the Senju Kannon (Kannon with thousand arms) sitting on a lotus flower in a lotus position, holding various symbolic objects in each hand, with two worshippers and dragons.

Condition: Overall the painting presents well with wear and creasing to the painting. The mounting with minor wear, soiling, tears, and one jiku missing.
