A LARGE DRY LACQUER TIFFIN CARRIER Burma, 1880. The beautiful gold and black lacquered five-tiered tiffin within a wooden frame carrier handle, depicting delicately rendered floral motifs and Singha lions on a coil of chu-pan backdrop. The tiffin topped with a cup set on a shallow plate, surmounted on a deeper lipped plate.

Condition: Overall good condition with wear to the lacquer to exposed areas, some scratches and a chip to the bottom rim.
