The porcelain potted in bell shape vase, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. Warm and uniform tea dust glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Tea powder glaze is one of the important varieties of iron crystal glaze in ancient China. The Iridescent Green pale, gilt splashes and streaks characteristic of this glaze are described as yao bian, or transmutation glaze and resulting from transmutation of colloidal copper, iron, or other metallic materials into suffusions breaking up the glaze surface. The Under base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
