Dimensions: Height: 53.7 cm, Diam.: 40cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Bean Celadon Glazed Porcelain Vase. The Porcelain potted in a vase shaped, thick and tall, globular lower body, flaring mouth rim, emerge ribbon flanked on cylindrical neck, raised on ring foot base rim and slight concave. Warm and uniform bean celadon glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Celadon is a type of green-glazed Chinese and were among the finest of a range of celadon wares produced in China, and led stylistic and technical developments. The celadons were produced in a range of shades of colour, centred on olive-green, but extending to greenish blues and browns. Green in Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
