爐鈞釉始于清雍正年間，盛行于雍正乾隆兩朝，為仿鈞窯所研製，顏色豐富多變，屬低溫顏色釉類。本品全身施滿釉，釉色幻化多變，翠嵐青紫自然流淌交融，斑駁陸離，於烈焰中幻化出別樣瑰麗，正是爐鈞釉臻妙之處，施加釉色突出紋理變化，於不變之中寓萬千變幻，實為絕佳之品。
