A Chinese lacquer fan or handheld fire screen, late Qing Dynasty, of oval profile on a plain handle, to one side decorated with boys in a landscape and to the other with a four-character blessing, 45.5cm long, fan 26cm wide.Condition report: Multiple surface chips and flakes to lacquer. Fractures to the handle at the base of the fan. Lacquer losses to the finial. Rubing to the gilt. General surface wear and signs of age and e throughout.
