Description

款识：廿九年，书旂作。|钤印：书旂（白） |张书旂的绘画勤于写生，工于设色，尤善用粉，在宣纸上用白粉蘸色点染，计白当黑，手法巧妙娴熟，极见生动之致，画风浓丽秀雅，尝与徐悲鸿、柳子谷合称“金陵三杰”。作品曾被美国总统收藏，是当时具有国际影响力的画家。他取法任伯年，又参入西法，画面明丽典雅，极具现代感，形成色、粉与笔墨兼施的清新流丽画风从而独标一格。《葵花秋虫》作于1940年，是其风格特立之作。
