A late Roman or Migration Period silver plate brooch of a bird of preyprising: head on a hooked neck developing to the beak, with raised scaphoid eyes and incised detailing; teardrop plate with rilled edges, incised 'XV' legend; rectangular tail with notched lower edge; pin-lug and integral catch to the reverse.
