A bronze pendant formed as a stylised bird with cruciform body, the wings and legs represented as expanding trapezoidal arms, domed chest, slender neck and hooked beak, large circular eyes also serving as the spension loop; rivet to three arms, knops to reverse. 52 grams, 59mm wide (2 1/4"). Private family collection formed in London, mid 1980s to early 1990s. Possibly a stylised representation of a vulture.
