赏析：周乐元，北京人，是内画鼻烟壶的一代宗师。原是一位宫灯、纱灯画师，在文学、绘画方面也有较高的造诣。目前已知周乐元最早的内画鼻烟壶作品创作于光绪八年（1882），而最晚的则是在光绪十九年（1893）。他的山石花鸟画，多表现旖旎的江南景色，设色以墨色为主，以淡彩作点缀，景物格调高雅；画面古朴精致，淡雅隽逸；画中题跋，内容与画面协调一致。落款壬辰年，为1892年，是他晚期的精品之作。值得珍藏。
