清 沈香雕松林高士杯 The cup is of irregular form, the uneven surface carved in high relief with prunus trees, pavilions, and figures in a landscape setting, interior lacquered black. The wood is of mottled dark-brown tones, with characteristic aroma. Qing Dynasty period. 此杯沈香木所雕，色如蒸栗，古韻盎然，將刻竹之法移用於刻木。外壁施以深浮雕作幽靜的山谷，山巒起伏，林木蒼翠，茅亭掩映，頗有“山中無歷日，寒居不知年”的文人幽居境界，令人神思嚮往。運刀古拙，刻工精湛，層次豐富，顯出自然幽邃的藝術格調。沈香木雕作品於今存世量較少，雕刻精細者更為難尋，其與中國蘇州博物館所藏一件沈香木雕刻山水天然式杯子風格較為近似。北京故宮博物院所藏江春波沈香木雕山水圖筆筒於形制、款識較為相似，可茲參照比較。
