He studied painting and calligraphy from the age of twelve and was a student of Fu Baoshi. After the Sino-Japanese War, he returned to Jingdezhen to work on ceramic art.熊晓峰 （1914-1996），字号醉翁、酒痴、竹影轩，生于江西南昌。十二岁起从师学习书画，曾是傅抱石的学生。曾先后在南昌、武汉、四川、重庆等地作画，抗战期间逃难到四川重庆，抗战胜利后返回景德镇从事陶瓷美术创作。
