A MING-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS BOUQUET' DISH, 18TH CENTURY China. The rounded sides rising from a foot ring to a thick lipped rim. The interior is decorated in blue underglaze with a tied bouquet of lotus flowers and leaves, the cavetto depicts a composite flower scroll below a key-fret scroll which is repeated on the exterior.

Provenance: Southern French trade.
Condition: Condition commensurate with age, with significant wear and traces of use such as surface scratches, extensive fritting to the edge, some manufacturing irregularities such as pitting, one hairline.
