Dimensions: Weight: 5250g, Height: 43 cm, Diam.: 23 cm Large Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Gilt Bronze Cloisonne Dragon Motif Tripod Censer. This cloisonne tripod censer is cast from high quality fine copper, with a thick copper body, globular shape, round mouth, correspondence dome dragon crown lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, symmetrical handles distributed along the two sides of the mouth, round belly connecting a restricted base and was supported by tripod elephant leg foot base. The body carved with Chinese calligraphy surround by imperial five claws dragon, mythical beast head, open work scrolling ruyi, flowers blossom, foliage and auspicious pattern. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration. The cloisonne decorating has been done with impressive fluency and detail. As sacrificial sets are considered quite rare. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed gilt script characters reign mark, Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
