(604) Oriental BowlDimensions: Width: 24cm, Height: 110cmChinese Song Dynasty Jun kiln Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. The interior, exterior plate entirely covered in attractive jun kiln ware well potted with pale celadon under glazed further to olive-brown hue on the rim. Chinese imperial Song ware made in Jun kiln in Baofeng County, Henan Province. The ware is characterized by the fine fire support marks on the bases of the vessels, resembling sesame seeds, its pale lavender glaze with crackle known as crab's claw markings and an ash-Gray body. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
