(219) Large Oriental VaseDimensions: Width: 31.5cm, Height: 42.5cmChinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Celestial Vase On Carved Hardwood Stand. The porcelain potted in shape vase, thick and tall and large, globular lower body, straight round neck, flaring mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
