PROVENANCE: From Celina, TX Private Collector. Dimensions: Height: 4.2 cm, Diameter: 7.9 cmPair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Chenghua Blue and White Flower Porcelain Cups. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring mouth rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flower bloom interspersed foliage and interlocking tendril. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years ChengHua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
