Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of group elders standing in sampan boat beside flowers bloom, rocky rock and bellow scrolling ruyi clouds. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
