It has an unglazed bottom that leaves the white ceramic body uncovered and hidden anhua decoration engraved on the inner walls.This type of pottery, known in the West by the French term of “Blanc de Chine”, was made in Dehua in the Fujian province as early as the Ming era. The characteristic white color, often associated with molded ceramic bodies, is the key note of this production, highly appreciated also in the West, where many of these artifacts were addressed.
