An Archaic Bronze Food Vessel, DuiWARRING STATES (475 - 221 B.C.)戰國 青銅敦having a globular body cast over low squat legs, the wide mouth fit with a conforming cover cast with three recumbent beasts. The body cast with braided rings alternating a raised lip, flanked with animal mask handles suspending loop handles. The vessel and cover showing deep patina with ochre and malachite encrustations. Height 6 3/4 x width 8 1/2 in., 17.2 x 21.6 cm.Acquired in Hong Kong, 1998.
