此印章选用上等沉香制作，现用手温热后仍可闻淡雅沉香。刻佛家“法论”与“须弥座”为钮，四方印面，阳刻“余庆堂”篆书。余庆堂，是一个历史消失的符号。作为商号，成于清代。余庆堂的商号来源大致有两种说法：一是书香世家席家在清朝为盐运做过巨大贡献，皇帝赐予“余庆堂”之号；第二种说法是取《周易·坤·文言》中“积善之家，必有余庆”之意，“余”表丰源，寓意吉祥。
