乾隆一朝蒜头瓶承袭雍窑，其造型俊雅秀逸，所施仿官釉一色，匀净莹亮，细腻肥润，底部铁色圈足形成仿宋官窑“紫口铁足”的特征；底部青花“大清乾隆年制”六字篆书年款，笔道精练有神，尽显官窑风采。
雍正十三年乙卯冬月，唐英总结雍正一朝瓷业成就所作的《陶成纪事碑》将仿官釉置于五十七种重要供御瓷器品类之首，其意可见。
