A George IV ormolu and brass-mounted, brass inlaid 'Boulle' and marquetry folio table, c.1820, the top adapted, with brass inlaid decoration to the frieze, red leather inset writing surface, book fronts, raised on four pairs of turned and fluted columns with brass capitals and terminals, with an arrangement of faux book supports, 79cm high, 118cm wide, 71cm deepLeather top distressed with scuffs, scratches and some losses. Brass trim to top with scratches and small dents. Frieze with losses to ebony veneer on left and right hand sides. Overall general wear to include scratches, scuffs, small indentations, there are some age related splits to veneer throughout and some signs of visible veneer restorations.
