Ca. Ø61.5mm, ca. 151g, silver pair case with matching Hallmarks from 1814, magnificent verge movement, signed and numbered 5755, fire-gilt plate, especially elaborately decorated with floral motifs, extremely exceptional enamel dial with painting, representation of a harbour in front of a mountain landscape, rare retrograde display of the time by the sun and moon with marking arrow, visually in perfect condition, chips in the rim area professionally restored by Pál Tóth, one of the best enamel painters of the 20th century, signed rim. This watch impresses on the one hand by its large size and the fantastic enamel work, on the other hand it is also technically highly interesting. Like pocket watches with 'wandering hour', these watches don't have hands. The sun/moon mark on the rotating disc shows the time on the dial ring.
