Ø32mm, 18K gold, very early hinged case with the rare Vermicelli decoration, case number 250888, dome with theplete Gondolo signature and movement number 145772, exquisite and extremely rare Patek Philippe Gondolo quality chronometer movement, gold wheels, special fine adjusting device, moustache lever, original enamel dial, also signed and inscribed Chronometro Gondolo (professionally restored hairlines), blued steel hands, high quality leather strap, in working order. The watches with the extract from the archives (copy) confirming the rare chronometer movement with gold wheels and the extremely rare Vermicelli case decoration. Signed 'Chronometer Gondolo' wristwatches of the 1st generation are extremely rare and are traded very high. Example: (pany Gondolo & Labouriau ó Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), since 1902. To meet the requirements of this important retailer, they had to feature the following technical details: Motion train in 9 carat gold, straight lever escapement with moustache lever and Patek Philippe's special fine adjusting device, patented on 13 January 1891. Mostly pocket watch chronometers were made, from 10'' to 22'', with different cases, dials and hands. Some were also made with chronograph or centre seconds. Very few were made as wristwatches. Patek Philippe never made any other watches with a gold motion train.
