Ø59mm, ca. 137g, 18K gold, master's punch JR No.89, blue enamelled case, lavishly set with half Oriental pearls, pendant and bow as well, case band with a small opening button, wonderfully engraved and enamelled dome, cylinder movement, repeating the hours and quarters, gold engine turned dial with decentralised time display, including the subsidiary seconds, in very beautiful condition, minimal imperfections in the enamel around the rim, dial with small fissures around the hole for the dial train, overall in very beautiful condition, extremely rare quality. A matching example, also attributed to Piguet & Meylan and with an enamel dial, was auctioned in Geneva and sold for 5 times the estimated price in 1991 (source: https:///go/baM).
