Large songbird automaton, probably France, late 19th century, classical dome shape with residual gilding, base with surrounding relief band. Enclosed 2 somewhat disheveled birds, one on the perch, one on the ground. Large, pivoting ring for carrying/hanging. Key to wind up, h. 53 cm
