Artist's seal mark at the bottom.Note:Xu Hantang, a native of Shushan, Yixing, is a master of Chinese arts and crafts, born into a family of purple sand pottery. He studied with Gu Jingzhou, a famous master of zisha teapot, in the early 1950s, and was his first disciple. He is especially good at making pots and is known as the "Han Tang Basin" in Shanghai.
