18th century, Qing dynasty. In famille rose or verte palette, each featuring fine scrolling peonies and lotus on the interior, having densely painted vines in green on black ground. Having stylized pink and yellow band with floral panels under the rim. Having an unusual carved square mark, with the raised area as the outline of a stylized Fu lion rolling a silk ball on turquoise ground, bearing auspicious meaning. Each having red sticker of Art and Antique Dealers League to America to base. Dia. 59.5 cm (23 3/8 in.) Provenance: From a Persian Armenian family, held privately since 1940s.
