本拍品以廣綠石雕琢羅漢坐像，廣綠石為中國五大名石之一，質地細膩堅韌，清初已在宮廷貢品中出現，純綠的廣綠石是為上品。
自乾隆、嘉慶乃至慈禧太后鍾愛翡翠，鮮綠的翡翠成為上層社會的熱捧，甚至價格遠遠超越了和闐玉，而廣綠石顏色碧綠似翠，因此出現許多廣綠石所雕琢的作品進貢皇宮，本拍品造型古雅傳神，衣服垂墜紋路流暢，手持佛像莊嚴崇高，為清代罕見佳作。
