L.C. Smith & Corona Typewriter Inc., Syracuse, New York. Marketed with the slogan "A gift to help little fingers guide eager young minds". – The company equipped normal portable typewriters, in this case the model "Sterling", for the small surcharge of 2.49 US dollars with the "Animal Keyboard". U.S. design patent no. 100245 was granted to Myrtle R. Keller in 1936 for this ornamental innovation. All the animal illustrations were by Byron Glee Newton, a well-known American artist. In the pre-Christmas period of 1935, Corona began advertising this high-quality model. However, during the Great Depression, money was scarce and expensive toys were an extravagance, thus few machines were sold.品相: (2–3/2)
