The album contains forty illustrations of forty famous historical figures from the Han dynasty to the Song dynasty, described by Jin as being 'peerless'.c.f. The other with a fine star crack to the interior, with a fine hairline showing through to the exterior, running up from the base. Surface wear throughout commensurate with age.
