A Chinese bronze archaistic 'ribbon' vase, Ming dynasty, of compressed globular form with a flaring neck rising to a hexalobed rim, the body cast with ruyi-head lappets bearing archaistic motifs, the neck cast with an imitation ribbon tied with two bows, the foot decorated with waves cast in relief, 23.5cm high 明 銅仿古飾帶紋壺 品相報告 Condition Report: Malachite green encrustations, particularly to the mouthrim, interior and around one of the ribbons, with a greenish patina throughout.
