山中漆器是日本四大漆器产地之一，起源于16世纪，在18世纪开始，山中漆器生产的托盘、汤碗等开始声名远扬，并在19世纪引入了泥金画技术后，进一步发扬光大。到1975年，山中漆器，被指定为日本国家传统工艺品，正式奠定了地位。此套茶盘为套装2件，圆形，金属包边大漆材质黑色底漆盘内采用真金莳绘工艺绘制爵床科花卉图案（花蕊处为朱漆）实用大方，可用于茶盘点心盘瓜果盘等
