林鴻文現為台南應用科技大學美術系專任教授，也是國際知名藝術家，2018年策畫高雄國際鋼雕藝術節，於2021年金馬賓館當代美術館舉辦個展，此作是他經典的抽象表現主義作品，林鴻文堅信藝術創作終將帶來的能量轉換，他說：「生命經常乘載著沈重的事物，所以我反而得用輕的筆觸、輕的姿態去將它們轉述出來，這樣兩者才能得到平衡。」
