An engraved drinking glass, early 19th century, the trumpet bowl with an auctioneer's gavel within a frame inscribed 'CAVEAT EMPTOR' surrounded by gilt enriched foliate scrollwork, raised on a wrythen moulded baluster stem and conical foot, height 12cm.
