Roman, early Imperial Period, ca. 1st to early 2nd century CE. A lovely mastoid cup that is free-blown from transparent yellow-green glass. The attractive vessel features a rounded base, an inverted bell-shaped body, and a slightly flared rim with a ground-down lip to mitigate any jagged edges. The exterior of the upper body is etched with a thin band of wheel-cut striations to imbue the cup with a personalized presentation.
