Wonderful austere piece appropriate for a scholar’s desk, natural off-white jadeite with beautiful apple green areas, pleasant matte finish to the stone. The bottom is carved with four sunken characters that can be translated as MADE FOR THE HALL OF PEACEFUL RAIN, red seal paste in the grooves.
