Seated in the graceful pose of rajalilasana (royal ease), the right hand elegantly resting aginst his knee in vitarkamudra, the left hand placed behind his left thigh holding a lotus stem, with his principal attribute of the thunderbolt supported by a lotus flower (padmastha ayudha). He is dressed in a dhoti, the upavita worn diagonally across the body, over the left shoulder, and adorned with jewels, the urna horizontal, hair styled in a bun enhanced with /bearing his characteristic crescent shaped crown.
