Tthe Adibuddha Vajradhara appears in miniature painting in union with his partner Prajnaparamita in the centre of the palace set within a square, enclosed by four archways, surrounded by Dakinis and , further surrounded by concentric circle of lotus petals and flames. The Dhyani Buddhas Vairocana, Aksobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha and Amoghasiddhi also appear in the upper picture field as companions of the mandala, while the lower picture plane is reserved for the five manifestations of the Dharmaraja Yama. Below the mandala, dancing deities with offerings in their hands. Four smaller mandalas in the corners, with a Tathagata Buddha inside. A votive inscription on the reverse. Brocade mount.
