A MUGHAL-STYLE AGATE HOOKAH BASEIndia, 19th century. Of bell-shaped form, with a pronounced ring below the tubular neck, the body carved with panels of flower motifs between bands of leaves, the neck with a geometric design and the base with a flower.Condition: Overall good condition with minor surface wear, few natural age cracks, small notches to exposed areas and rims, as well as a small restoration to the mouth lip.Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
