In 1810 he married Georgiana Maria COTTIN (1794-1859) daughter of Lt. Col Josiah COTTIN (1771-1843) by Lavinia CHAMBERS (1770-1830), who was non-armigerous. In 1826 the 5th Baronet was created Baron Tabley.
