The sides rising from a flat circular base to a wide shoulder set with a short straight neck, decorated in red, green and yellow enamels, the body painted with fo-lions gambolling among scrolling leafy tendrils and lotus blooms, a band of upright lappets around the foot, the shoulder and mouth rim with pendant flame pattern, the shoulder further decorated with stylised lotus flowers on a ground of interlinked circles, the base with the four-character mark: of Fu-shou-kang-ning, Blessing, longevity, healthy, peaceful, within a double circle in underglaze blue. Period: Ming (1368-1644), 17th century. Height: 16 cm
