The saucer dishes brightly painted to the interior in vibrant enamels with two sinuous five-clawed dragons, the bodies orange and the faces framed by bright green manes, with fierce expressions and powerful limbs, their long bodies enveloping and flanking a central flaming pearl picked out in iron-red and gold, powerfully moving amidst multi-coloured clouds, the exterior similarly decorated with two further scaly five-clawed dragons, one pink one yellow, also chasing flaming pearls among clouds and flame, the bases glazed.
