The meiping with tall sides sweeping up from a flat circular base to a wide shoulder set with a narrow, slightly waisted neck, expressively decorated in shades of underglaze- blue and copper red, the body painted with peaches and blossoms borne on a gnarled flowering tree growing between jagged rocks picked out in copper-red, above a band of scrolling lotus at the foot, the shoulder with a band of scrolling lotus, the neck with stylised ruyi clouds, the glazed base with an apocryphal six-character mark of Kangxi in blue but later.
