The rounded sides supported on a circular footring, the wide shoulder sloping inward to a short narrow neck with everted rim, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, painted with a scene of a scholar in a terraced garden apanied by an attendant bearing a parasol greeting another, and a scene of a scholar in a terraced garden at a table looking out pensively, the shoulder with four cartouches containing a fruit, reserved against a dense patterned ground, the glazed base with a hare mark in underglaze blue.
