Of round form with out-turned rim and foliate edge, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the well painted with a with a central roundel of a lotus surrounded by a ruyi-head border from which radiates twelve lotus shaped panels with different blossoms, the upturned rim with a further twelve lotus-shaped panels each enclosing a flower spray, all on a diamond work background, the underside with an artemisia leaf.
